We have been extensively involved with Insurance claims during the last 15 years and are featured on the approved list of contractors of several large claims-handling companies. We handle between 10 to 15 small sized refurbishment contracts each week and encounter all types of claim including fire, flood, and accidental damage. These are very much part of our day-to-day works schedule, and we have been involved in hundreds since our establishment. Although we generally become involved at the post-planning stage, should you wish we can recommend a number of excellent architects and surveyors.

We have great experience in rebuilding PRC homes and due to our expertise we have covered quite a vast area including Bristol, Swindon, and Kidderminster. Our quality in this area is second to none, and if you are considering a PRC repair we can arrange viewings of properties we have repaired in the past: our former customers will be more than happy to show you.

Since our establishment, we have controlled a number of restoration projects on rural properties and consequently developed quite a reputation in this field. We are known to have extensive experience and specialist expertise in the renovation of period and listed buildings. One contract we were involved in concerned a Grade 2 listed property situated within the Brecon Beacons National Park. It had been damaged extensively by fire and required some very particular skills, especially to restore some of the more intricate period features of the property. For instance, our carpenters had to recreate archways in timber in order to match perfectly what was there originally. Another property we worked on was a 16th Century Grade 2 listed Farmhouse building in the picturesque setting of Glascoed, near Usk. For this contract we had to extend the building whilst perfectly matching the stonework of the original. We then renovated the farmhouse ensuring that all work conformed to the period and style, and for this we worked closely with CADW who monitored our progress to confirm that all renovations matched the style of the period.

We have long been involved with the design and construction of Barn Conversions, and are able to work to bespoke design requirements. We have become experts in designing barns that maintain warmth in the ancient fabrics by cutting out damp and condensation. This expertise requires a thorough understanding of how the structure and fabric of an old building performs and how this can be adapted to a new role. When proceeding with a Barn conversion we attempt to compliment the structure whilst working within its parameters. We form the rooms to suit the levels, shape and form of the structure, enhancing the shape of the barn, thus preserving its structure and aesthetic qualities.

We have many maintenance contracts with local and national companies for whom we carry out a wide variety of services. We also continue to be involved in many commercial projects including the design, construction and refurbishment of factories; restaurants; hotels; local takeaway outlets; and numerous other commercial properties. A recent contract concerned the design and construction of a large shower block at a manufacturing factory, which included the installation of a complex shower system and accompanying changing rooms.Another contract concerned the erection of a 748 square foot factory base in Cardiff. The quality of work is outstanding and it was efficiently constructed within the 22 week deadline.
